Snow Angels

Today there was a whole line of snow angels on a bank looking amazing. So Hine's 'Squid Snow Angel' caught my eye and made me laugh. Hine makes wonderful plush items and incredible Halloween outfits! I do love the creative way that she and many other talented artists introduce their creations to the world. Hine Mizushima's creativity has been in painting, illustrating and now plush and animation, enjoy.

Here are some examples of Angie Pickman's incredible patience and intricate work. Angie is a paper cutter, the tininess of the top cut is phenomenal and the central photo is a bee shadow puppet with movable parts, wonderful !

Sam Cott


These figures are from Sam Cott's portfolio, it just occurred to me that they are like the scenes in the animated Paddington Bear, anyway Sam makes great things and has a lovely blog worth a visit.

Last year at the park I listened and watched in wonder, as a swan on the pond pushed its way through the ice to the shore, the sound was amazing.

A young Chinese illustrator who used to be an electrical engineer, these examples of Antony Xu Jin's work have the order and colour of Indian Miniatures, and they are appealingly other, if you know what I mean, anyway I think they are great.
